Law and Internet Foundation signed a cooperation agreement with The National Board of Tourism
25.05.2018On May 23, 2018, The National Board of Tourism (NBT) signed a cooperation agreement with Law and Internet Foundation (LIF) for establishing a Consulting Center for Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation GDPR)) for the needs of the NBT’s partnership network.
Being an active organization in the field of information and communication technologies law Law and Internet Foundation conducts numerous research and project activities related to privacy and data protection law. Thus, a significant part of the projects coordinated and implemented by the Foundation are devoted to the different aspects of personal data protection.
The scope of services fostered by the Consultancy Center includes providing trainings on GDPR issues, conducting legal analysis and reports on the level of compliance of data processing processes. The service Data Protection Officer, as well as referring to data protection and privacy law experts are also part of the benefits of this cooperation.
